Deutscher Fallschirmsport Verband e.V.

The Deutscher Fallschirmsport Verband e.V. – DFV (German Parachuting Association) is the national governing body for sport parachuting in Germany and is a member organization of the German Olympic Sports Confederation (Deutscher Olympischer Sportbund – DOSB). The DFV represents skydivers, parachute clubs, drop zones, instructors, and affiliated organizations throughout Germany. It is responsible for promoting safe skydiving practices, establishing training and licensing standards, organizing national competitions, supporting athlete development, and representing German sport parachuting at both the national and international levels. Through its comprehensive mandate from the DOSB, the DFV is also responsible for technical matters.The DFV maintains a technical committee that is responsible for the education, training, and supervision of technical staff. Each year, the DFV organizes a technical training program to support its technical staff.
